About the cemetery

Cemetery and/or cenotaph memorial for fallen members of the Partisan Cankar Company (Sln. Cankarjeva četa) at Obranica Pasture (Sln. Planina Obranica). It stands at the site of a battle with German forces on 1 August 1941. The sculpture is a 1954 work by Božo Pengo.
