Actress. Born in Piatra Neamț during World War II, she would move to Bucharest and graduate at The National University of Theatre and Film "I.L.Caragiale". During a career that spanned five decades, she acted on theatre, film, and television. From the middle '60s until the early '70s, she traveled to Galați and Timișoara to pursue a career in the theatrical stage. She began acting on film having a small role in 'Brothers', in 1970. Then, she would act in more films, her credits including 'Marele singuratic' (1977), 'Ecaterina Teodoroiu' (1978), 'Crucea de piatră-ultimul bordel' (1994), 'Ambasadori, căutăm Patrie' (2003), and her last film role was in 'Niciodată nu e prea tarziu' (2006), where she shared credits with the late Oana Ioachim . In her last years of life, she appeared on the small screen in 'Inimă de țigan' (2007), 'Regina' (2008), and 'Aniela' (2009).
