In memoriam

Aikaterini Zerva, known as Katerina (Greek: Αικατερίνη "Κατερίνα" Ζέρβα) Second wife of Gen. Napoleon Zervas and mother of his two daughters. In 2008 she donated their home to the Greek War Museum as a tribute to her husband and his EDES resistance organization. In 2022 it opened officially as Annex of the War Museum "Home of General Napoleon Zervas" - Παράρτημα του Πολεμικού Μουσείο «Οικία Στρατηγού Ναπολέοντα Ζέρβα». Aikaterini Zerva died at the age of 97 on Saturday, 28 June 2014, and her funeral and burial took place at the 3rd Cemetery in Athens. Η Αικατερίνη Ζέρβα πέθανε σε ηλικία 97 ετών το Σάββατο 28 Ιουνίου 2014, ενώ η κηδεία και η ταφή της έγινε στο Γ' Νεκροταφείο στην Αθήνα.
