Christopher Báthory was voivode of Transylvania from 1576 to 1581. He was a younger son of Stephen Báthory of Somlyó, and his wife, Catherine Telegdi. He was the elder brother of Stephen Báthory who served as Voivode (and later Prince) of Transylvania and King of Poland.
