Awards: Territorial Decoration Died 20 May 1941 Age 39 years old Son of Edward George and Amy Emma Barnett, of Halton, Northumberland; husband of Gillian Barnett, of Halton. Died while defending the Akrotiri Peninsula, Northern Crete against German paratroopers who started landing on 20th May (main invasion was on the 28th).
