Eleftherios Gianoudis

In memoriam

Elftherios Gianoudis (Ελευθέριος Γιανούδης ή Γιαννούδης) was a Gendarme. He was killed in action during the battle of Mandalon (a village near Giannitsa) on November 26th 1946. He was from Garazon (Rethymno Prefecture-Crete, now part of the Municipality of Mylopotamos) (Γαράζο Ρεθύμνου Κρήτης , τώρα μέρος του Δήμου Μυλοποτάμου). Member of the 8th Company of Gendarmerie for Pursuit and Hunting (8ος Λόχος Κυνηγών Χωροφυλακής).
