On the grave there is a headpiece with an Ulema forked čatal turban with an epitaph in Arabic and Bosnian. language, and a foot niche in the form of a stele without an epitaph. There is an epitaph in the Bosnian language at the beginning of the headpiece in Latin script that reads: "Mayor of Sarajevo 1910-1915" The grave is framed with a santrac. On the head sight with ulemanic forked čatal turban has a date engraved in Arabic, which in translation reads: "He is the Eternal Creator (meaning Allah Almighty) Fehim, son of Ragib Efendi Ćurčić, whom Allah. had mercy and forgave his sins was the mayor of Sarajevo From the year 1318. until 1333 per Hijri .Moved into the house rahmet 1334 after Hijra El.Fatiha" The epitaphs, which are also found on the headboard, written in the Bosnian language in the Latin alphabet, read: "Fehim Ćurčić (1886-1916)" "Mayor of Sarajevo 1910-1915

Bosnian politician. Fehim Effendi Čurčić (1866– February 12, 1916) was a notable Bosnian politician, renowned for his tenure as the 5th Mayor of Sarajevo from 1910 to 1915. On June 28, 1914, Mayor Čurčić played a significant role in welcoming Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria and his wife Sophie, Duchess of Hohenberg to Sarajevo, and was present later that day at their assassination, an event that catalyzed World War I. He passed away at the age of 50 in an Austrian sanatorium. Born into a prominent Bosniak family that migrated to Sarajevo from Livno in the late 17th century, Čurčić hailed from a lineage of distinguished figures. His father, Ragib Čurčić, served as a statesman in the Ottoman Empire and held the position of mayor of Sarajevo during Ottoman rule until the Austrian occupation in 1878. Čurčić had a brother named Muhamed, and two sisters, and the family adhered to the Muslim faith. Čurčić embarked on a career in administrative public service, gaining recognition for his political aspirations. He received military training and served as a reserve officer. His political career culminated with his election as mayor of Sarajevo, succeeding Esad Kulović in the 1910 election. During his mayoral term, notable developments in Sarajevo included the establishment of the Chamber of Education in 1911, the opening of the Kino Apolo (Apollo Cinema) a year later, and the construction of key landmarks such as the city's main post office, the Museum of Sarajevo, the Judicial Palace, and the Faculty of Law building at the University of Sarajevo. Čurčić's tenure as mayor came to an end in 1915 when the City representation was dissolved. However, his role in history was cemented by his presence during the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, an event that altered the course of global affairs. Despite his unawareness of the impending tragedy, Čurčić's association with the fateful day remained etched in historical records.

Below the grave of Mayor Fehim Čurčić is the grave of the famous alim (scholar) late Hafiz librarian and encyclopedist, Traljić Mahmud, where in 2004 they mounted white head sight with mushebek with a turban and an epitaph in Ottoman Turkish and a white octagonal nišan at the foot without an epitaph. Dr. Nusret Čolo is the author of calligraphy and poetry on the Ulema nišan with a Mushebek turban. Translation of the epitaph with of the Ottoman Turkish language reads: He (Allah) is eternal One of the famous hafiz i And respected muderris Hafiz Mahmud known among To all excellent students He was a devout scientist And a sincere friend of dervishes It would depend on his honor and kindness They could envy the inhabitants of Jannah He surrendered his pure soul to the Supreme Hakku and went to his lofty Julistan On roza mahsher, may it be for him Shefa'atchi pride of all worlds Muhammed a.s.
