As a member of the HVO of the 1st battalion of the Klis Brigade of Herceg Stjepan, he was killed by a member of the Army of the Republika Srpska on May 26, 1992 in Bradina while performing a combat mission. He was buried in the Zelenak Catholic cemetery in Vrcima. Awarded the Homeland War Memorial and the Order of Petr Zrinski and Fran Krsta Frankopan.
