In memoriam
Ioan Marcus was born in 1909. He died in Ilisua, Salaj, on April 14, 1946. He married to my aunt Victoria Cighi (1915-2016) on June 1, 1935. My mother, Valeria Cighi (1922-2015), was pregnant with me when my parents attended his funeral ceremony in Ilisua in April 1946. Together my aunt, I visited a few times his grave in Ilisua.
