Irene (Rita) Bassias was born on 5 November 1938 in Chaniá, Crete, Greece, the daughter of Chrisoula and Spiros. She had one son and one daughter with David Thomas Audoire DAVIS between 1963 and 1965. Rita married Terence Enright in 1986 in Reading Berkshire England. She died on 4 December 2019 in Wokingham, Berkshire, at the age of 81. Her ashes were finally interred 0n the 13 Sept 2022 in the family grave in the cemetery called Agios Loukas (St Loukas) church, Chania, Crete.
