Faust von Stromberg (full given name: Karl Emmerich Joseph Johann Nepomuk), was the son of Johann Philipp Jakob, Graf und Edler Herr von und zu Eltz gen. Faust von Stromberg, and his wife, Freiin Maria Anna Wambolt von Umstadt. He was married at Wiesentheid on October 15, 1853 to his elder brother's widow, Gräfin Ludvina Pejácsevich de Veröcze.
