In memoriam
The German village of Neubeschenowa was settled in 3 waves by Germans from the Schwarzwald and the Rhine Palatinate. During partitioning after WWI under terms of the Treaty of Trianon signed in 1920, the village was reapportioned from Eastern Hungary to Western Romania. As a result, all locations in this database are using the current name rather than the historic name.
