In memoriam

From Ljubljana. Child, murdered by the Partisans. A Partisan communiqué of 5 July 1942 states that a patrol had hunted down and captured the Lampret woman from Ljubljana, the wife of a traitor. Comrade Cankar declared that both had already been sentenced to death in Ljubljana, and she was shot the same day. A second communiqué states that Mira Lampret, née Rozman, born 5 Dec. 1916 in Ig, was the wife of a Gestapo agent, that she and her approximately four-year-old daughter were shot, and that 1,113 Italian lira was taken from them.
