Nicolae Iordache Toma

In memoriam

Nicolae was born in Patesti, Vrancea County, Romania. He is the son of Iordache Toma. Nicolae's mother died when he and his little sister were very young. We have not been able to find the name of their mother. (The Village of Patesti is present day Unirea.) Nicolae married Eufrosina Mihailescu on May 04, 1923 in Calarasi City, Calarasi Region, Romania. Nicolae was a Military Career Man who rose through the ranks to become a General in the Romanian Calvary. General Toma served in both World War I and World War II.
