In memoriam
Pasquala Coschich was born in Vrboska on the island of Hvar in present-day Croatia. She was the daughter of Domenico Brescovich Coschich and Tomasina Angelini, and had many brothers and sisters. Like her parents, Pasquala was buried "della Madonna" in Vrboska, likely meaning at the church of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This is now likely the site of the Fortress of St. Mary.
