Vasile Ciobanca

In memoriam

Vasile Ciobanca was born to Maria Popitiu and Ioan Ciobanca in Bocsa, Salaj, Romania, on November 5th, 1921. The family was Greek Catholic. Vasile got married to Valeria (1921-2015) in 1945 and they had four children: Maria (married name: Mirghesiu; born July 1st, 1946), Elena (married name: Opris; b. November 15th, 1948), Ioan (b. October 16th, 1950), and Petru (b. June 28th, 1954). He died at his home in Bocsa, Salaj, on September 26, 1995. The Funeral Service at his home in Bocsa, with funeral afterwards to Bocsa Cemetery. His wife was buried above him on April 25, 2015.
