Magyarországország legidősebb embere volt . Született Vajdaságban, ami akkor Nagy-Magyarország volt, Dél-bánsági körzetben (Vojvodina) Kevevár-on (Kovin). Ő volt az első magyar ember, aki bizonyíthatóan elérte a 113 éves kort. He was the oldest man in Hungary. He was born in Vojvodina, which was then Hungary, in the Southern Banat (Vojvodina) district in Kevevár (Kovin). He was the first Hungarian to prove that he had reached the age of 113.
