Unfortunately, Yakov's exact birth and death dates have been lost. He was beaten to death with his brother in Kishinev (Chisinau, today) sometime between 1907 and 1912. His son, Enrich (Henry), wrote about his father as a very successful businessman, excellent father, and good husband.
